Nutrition health concerns have come to the public attention with the increasing emphasis on the prevention of disease and on the advantages of leading a balanced life and sticking to a natural diet. The consume society is actually characterized by the unconscious tendency to poison the body. And you will certain wow and ask yourself how that can be possible. After all, you are eating what everybody else is eating, and this is exactly my point. We are in such a rush that we no longer cook at home: we buy canned or frozen food, we put it in the micro – wave and dinner is ready.

We feed our children on highly processed food, and we still wonder why we self-intoxicate. In very brief lines, these are the main problems related to nutrition. Health suffers most and the only alarm signs that the body can send are disease symptoms. Constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, gastric ulcer, gastritis, GERD disease, diabetes, acne and so many others are directly related to diet. Nutrition health programs therefore insist on the education of the consumer.

I will not say: ‘ stop buying salad dressings from the supermarket and make them at home ‘, because that would not leave you the freedom to choose. And nobody can be cohered into an action like food choice unless he/she willingly increases awareness. Read labels and avoid those products with too much fat, sugar or chemicals. I will give you a simple example here. Think how great ice cream tastes. Have you ever thought that that great taste is given by chemicals, not by natural flavors?

What about junk food then? If you just take a look at your shopping basket in the supermarket, you will identify those foods that I specifically refer too. Chips, creams, toppings, lots of sweets, pudding, jelly and so many more, contain substances that accumulate in the organs, and intoxicate the system after a while. Nutrition health does not equal fasting, but a better care with the food we consume. It’s such a joy in cooking a nice dinner from fresh natural products rather than serve your family canned soup. Think about it!

If any of these lines has rung a bell for you, take a look on other web sites and check other ways to improve diet. There are hundreds of healthy recipes you can cook in just a few minutes. Plus, you will see that health nutrition principles will help you make savings, because it is cheaper to cook meals at home than to buy everything from the hypermarket.

Nutrition varies greatly in type and form, however every single one of us requires supplementation in our diets. Visit http://dealingtips.com/health-nutrition/ to view our great selection of products.

It’s a fact that health, wellness and nutrition are the biggest booming markets in the world today. Everyone is just starting to be more and more health conscious and people are in search for that solution to keep their mind and body fit and strong for as long as possible. Despite the technological advancements and modern cures, people are still looking for other ways on how to be healthier, sexier– and immortal? Anyway, considering these facts, starting a nutrition business may prove to be quite a brilliant idea.

A business connected to nutrition may be a fantastic way to earn money. If you have a corporate job, this business can still be possibly done from home during your available time. All you need is a computer and an internet connection. You can work during your extra hours and not feel pressured because you will not have a boss breathing on your neck. Now, how can establishing a nutrition business be truly a great idea?

First off, as already mentioned, people just gobble up everything which you say is good for their health. Dietary supplements, herbal medicines, herbal concoctions including candies and juices are definitely a hit. Particularly these days when health issues like insurances and health care are dominating the airwaves, everyone is just getting and getting more frantic in doing something to work on their health. Everyone wants to stay out of and away from the hospital. Why would you want to spend money on an illness, right? This is why starting a business that will cater to the current needs of the people is surely a good one.

Another great thing about putting up a nutrition business is that the products are more often easy-to-use and easy-to-follow. Reality is, not everyone is cut to be a good salesman. If you are selling products which are complicated to use or consume, chances are you will not be able to market it well and people will neither want to go through the complex process of using the product. Thankfully, aside from nutrition products being easy to consume, companies also provide free trainings on how to go about the business. The trainings will prepare you on how to sell the products and before you embark on your journey, you will be equipped with the basic skills needed.

A nutrition business is definitely a great idea if you have been wanting to start a business of your own. Do your research and see your options now.

On yesterdays’ show (01/12/10), Dr. Oz had a well-known hypnotist, Paul McKenna (?) successful in weight loss, smoking and addiction. He agreed with the four golden rules of weight loss, most of which were fool’s gold, according to traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicines and common sense.

(1) When you are hungry, go eat because when you starve you lose weight in the short-run but you also slow your metabolism.

No, You are overweight, obese because you never restrain your hunger. You cannot just go and eat whenever you feel the urge, hunger as (a) you may be overeating and (b) may actually be hungry, ready for another meal.

The golden rule of health is daily diet, meal by meal, not snack by snack or continuous eating. The purpose of meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner is to guarantee not only most nutrition, balance but also consistent eating times, especially during the day, which train and keep digestion, maximizing absorption, blood, elimination, etc.

A balanced meal (1/3 protein and fat, 1/3 grain, 1/3 vegetables, 3- 5), fruit, spices, soup and or tea) leaves one nutritionally, energetically satisfied, without cravings. If your hunger is caused by unbalanced meals, then satisfying your hunger with unbalanced snacks just worsens your condition.

The best way to lose weight is to go hungry by eating less, spacing the meals, etc. Eat two meals a day, instead of three. Make dinner the lightest meal. If you crave snacks, sweets eat bread, rice cakes, peanut butter, jelly, carrots, celery, apples, yogurt, raisins, walnuts, etc. Step one of weight loss is eat quality snacks.

You will never lose weight unless you go hungry between meals. The ony ay you slow your metabolism is by eating less protein and fat. Protein and fat are the only two nutrients that build and fuel.

(2) Eat what you want not what you should, as soon as you forbid, do everything to eat the forbidden foods.

There is only negative value to eating poor quality foods: chips, fried foods, French fries, pizza, cookies, pastries, candies, etc. eating what you want got you into trouble the first place. you have to eat what the body wants, not what you think it wants. Treat the body like a car, read (intuit and experience) the manual and follow instructions. You have to eat the best quality foods: organically grown fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, nuts, seeds, dairy and or free range, antibiotic free eggs, chicken, turkey, etc. The rules, solutions are the same for everyone. If you do not forbid (keep them out of the house) bad foods, then how are you going to stop eating them?

(3) Eat consciously, focus on food, chewing and chew slowly.

This is true. you should focus on your food while you eat, but you also need to focus on your food before you buy, cook and eat. you are not raising your consciousness much less improving health when you focusing and chewing on poor quality food.

(4) When you think you are full stop eating.

No. You should stop eating before you are full, otherwise you will overwhelm and clog your stomach, pylorus and or duodenum (first section of small intestine) reducing and slowing digestion (abdominal bloating, gas, heartburn, etc.). The Chinese recommend that your stomach should be 1/2 full of solid foods, 1/4 liquid and 1/4 empty to allow the stomach to mix food and fluids (Hydrochloric acid and digestive enzymes) increasing digestion and assimilation of nutrients.

(5) dieting only works in the short-term (first mentioned) but fails in the long-run.

Dieting only works in the short-run if the diet is not properly balanced, adjusted. Proper dieting, consistent meals and exercise (walking) always works, succeeds. Life is not a sprint. it is marathon.

Overeating causes excess weight, obesity. Unrestrained appetite causes overeating. Lack of discipline, exercise and most importantly, unbalanced diet causes overeating. The simple secret to weight loss and health is general is simple diet and a desire to succeed. Reflection is also a must. Are you really happy eating your diet, junk food? Do you like the way you look, feel? If the answer is no, then remember this question and answer every time you eat a bad food. I keep five-pound bags of organic carrots and apples in my refrigerator. You will never get fat on these foods only full.

Yesterday (01/11/10) I had the fortune of watching Dr. Oz on his nationally syndictaed television show. On one segment he brought up an audience member, a woman (his audience is largely female) on stage to perform in an exercise.

On the stage was a table, divided in half by a large red line. On one side of the table were various bowls and plates of fruits, vegetables, beans etc. The other side was empty. Her job was to move whatever foods she thought would equal the minimal or maximal daily requirement (MDR) of nutrients, specifically the five major vitamins: A (vision, nerves), B (metabolism), C (immunity), D (bones, nerves) and E (circulation) and K (clotting) as there are at least six major vitamins.

She started to pick up a big bowl of oranges (5), then put down and ask Dr. Oz could she move piece by piece or bowls? Dr. Oz smirked, laughed then said it doesn’t matter, so she started moving bowls and plates of avocado (1), broccoli (large bunch), oranges (5), olives, tomatoesm beans, bananas, etc. She moved quite a bit of food from one side the other.

He then asked the audience if they thought she was right or should she have more or less. Somebody yelled out, moved everything and Dr. Oz said yes. It would take approximately 10- 15 pounds of these foods to equal the nutrition in one to three vitamin pills.

This is utter nonsense, on many levels.

Nutrition is not a one trick pony. It is a scientific and intelligent mixture of major and minor nutrients. The major nutrients by body composition are water (63%+) and protein and fat (33%). The minor nutrients are minerals (4%). Vitamins, enzymes, etc. are less than 1%. Limiting the discussion of nutrition and supplements to vitamins only is not only shortsighted but also misleading and harmful (promotes ignorance).

You canot have a vitamin A or D (fat soluble) deficiency without a much larger deficiency: protein and fat. Nor can yoo have a vitamin C (water soluble) deficiency without a much larger deficiency: fruit and vegetables. Treating a vitamin, enzyme or mineral deficiency, excess witbhout treating the larger deficiency is a waste of the patient’s time, energy, money and health.

There are good supplements. Fish liver oil, vitamin E oil, etc. are highly beneficial, especially for children (aids in the development of the nervous system and bones). They do not benefit but intead worsen a clogged liver. They are also, contrary to Dr. Oz, not the same.

There are only two grades of Vitamin E: natural (wheat berries, sesame seeds, etc.) and synthetic. The natural is far more absorbable and potent, just like organic produce. If you do not think organic produce has more nutrition, then you need to start eating organic. Eating is believing. It is also scientific validation.

There are different qualities of supplements. I owned and operated my own health food store for seventeen years (see bio). Supplements were 70% of my business despite the fact that I took no supplements (everyone knew) and always advised food, diet first. My book is largely about diet. The only reason one would supplement his or her diet would be that he, she is not eating the right foods. Why not increase hard cheese, chicken, turkey, eggs and or fish, instead of taking supplements. why not eat more vegetables (root, round and leafy, not salads) instead of taking laxatives to cure constipation. You must realize that every remedy, including laxatives can not only have a long-term negative affect (constipation) but also addiction. When you recommend pills and not diet, you always run the risk of addiction.

When you recommend pills you also divert attention from the real issues. Dr. Oz and modern medicine (he’s the Pied Piper), in general, want you to discard the notion that diet, simple foods: fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, nuts, seeds, milk, cheese, etc. can not only give you the daily nutrition but also cure disease, which is generally caused by poor nutrition: long-term high protein, fat, starch and low vegetables, fruit or low protein, low-fat and high carbohydrate (see Hot and Cold Health and Disease).

He seems to suggest that you would have to eat 10- 15 pounds of produce per day to get the minimum or maximum daily requirement of vitamins (I do not remember him mentioning any other nutrients). Is he, modern science, all doctors telling us that it really does not matter what you eat as long as your take a few, inexpensive supplements? This is what I hear.

Later, he had another ten minute segment in which he and his expert reduced body from food (garlic, curry and a normal, control diet, which does not exist, on his show) into sulfur emissions. he neglected to discuss the sour smell that obese people or those who eat a lot of dairy products (milk, yogurt, cheese, ice cream, etc.) and sugar tend to have sout body odor. He seems to build facts around microscopic points, in my humble opinion (Acupuncture Physician, FL 1992- 2002).

In one-half hour or less he managed to cut, nullify the subject of diet and nutrition into a few pills, just like he (modern medicine) reduced the insomnia patient sleeping pill into a sleeping pill addict, publically humiliated her and then got applause for sending her to rehab, not for curing her insomnia, ruining her health and with narcotic, drug addicting sleeping pills.

The doctors treats one disease, advises pills. The pills are addicting in nature, and should be used lightly and closely monitored. Should be. The doctors treat the addiction with rehab and or more pills. Diet and nutrition is often the last step, resort.

Belly fat is not only unattractive and uncomfortable; it is unhealthy and may lead to serious illnesses like diabetes, lose of kidney function and heart failure. Getting rid of belly fat takes a concerted effort of diet and exercise along with knowledge of how to avoid having it return. So let’s examine what we should know about the factors that contribute to the deposit of belly fat (visceral fat) in the adipose tissues of the abdomen.

METABOLISM
Metabolism: The whole range of biochemical processes that occur within us (or any living organism). Metabolism consists both of anabolism and catabolism (the buildup and breakdown of substances, respectively). The term is commonly used to refer specifically to the breakdown of food and its transformation into energy. (Definition from MedicineNet.Com)

Metabolism varies from person to person and as a function of age, activity, health and gender as well as “life style” (what, how and when you eat, drink, sleep and exercise). The good news is that you can manipulate your metabolism with diet (and dietary supplements); exercise and life style changes that will make your food to energy transformation more efficient and help you lose your belly fat.

BLOOD GLUCOSE and INSULIN PRODUCTION
The amount of sugar in your blood varies as your digestive system goes to work to meet your body’s demand for energy. Increases in blood sugar naturally trigger the production of insulin, the body’s blood sugar regulator. Unfortunately, insulin also facilitates the deposit of fats in body tissue. The ideal objective is to avoid fluctuations in blood glucose and the attendant insulin spikes that accompany them.

Clinical studies have shown the effects of ingesting various quantities of over 4500 foods on blood glucose levels in terms of maximum increase and time to recovery. The results of these trials suggest that the way to lose weight and stay lean is to have five or six small meals per day instead of the standard three “squares”. The blood glucose level doesn’t fluctuate nearly as much as with larger, more widely spaced meals. This leads to less insulin production and less retention of fat.

ESTROGEN
Estrogen is only one of many hormones produced in the body. While it is a dominant factor in the overall health of women, just as testosterone is for men, estrogen and its xenoestrogen imitators promote the depositing of fat in adipose tissue. Androgens, another natural hormone, prevent lipids (cholesterol and triglycerides or fat and oils) from being stored in adipose tissue. Unfortunately, estrogen converts androgens to estrogen, which as noted before promotes the depositing of fats in the body. Belly fat cells are adipose tissue! Ergo, we should limit our intake and production of estrogen and xenoestrogens.

Xenoestrogens are found in the air, petroleum products, plastics and foods. Most notably they are found in pesticides that are widely used on fresh fruit and produce. You may want to peel your apple or pear since washing will not remove all pesticides from their skin.

MONOUNSATURATED FATTY ACIDS
Eating fat to lose fat sounds crazy on the surface of it, but it has been clinically proven that monounsaturated fatty acids actually aid in the burning of visceral fat like belly fat. When we include foods that contain monounsaturated fat in a calorie controlled, high protein-high fiber diet, we can provide a fat burning bonus to your bout with belly fat. Some good sources of these fat burning friends are avocado, nuts, seeds, olives, soybeans, chocolate, olive and canola oils, and fatty fish with omega-3.

EXERCISE
The most important aspect of exercise is movement! Constant movement! It doesn’t have to be fast or strenuous, just constant for a prolonged period of time, and done regularly. Recent studies show that when the body is engaged in a repetitive, rhythmic set of motions (treadmill, elliptical, stair-climber etc.); it expends less energy then when it is challenged to make multiple random movements. Our muscles become very efficient when repeating the same motion over and over again, and actually learn to conserve energy as they perform. The result is diminishing returns for the exerciser. It has been suggested that getting on with ones normal daily routine at a sustained, but somewhat random pace will actually burn more energy than a structured exercise routine. Like Nike says, “Just do it”!

DIET
Calories still count. We consume calories, we burn calories and we store calories. When we consume more than we burn, we store the excess and get fat. When we burn more than we consume, we have to call upon our stored reserves to make up the difference and lose some fat in the process.

It is known that it takes more energy to digest protein than it takes to digest fat. Our goal is to burn more energy and to do it more efficiently. It seems obvious that a high protein diet will help achieve that goal.

We want our diet to facilitate the burning of fat and to block the storage of fat. We have learned that we have to minimize the “spiking” of insulin in our system by minimizing the variations in our blood glucose levels. Whole grains are know to trigger less of an insulin response than refined grains (white flour) and provides high fiber content. The bulk found in a high fiber diet fills you up and satisfies your hunger for a longer period of time than refined grains will. That results in your eating less. We call that a win-win in the war on belly fat. We also want to limit the ingestion of estrogen and xenoestrogen so as to not interfere with the blocking of fat deposits provided by androgens.

BYE-BYE BELLY FAT FINAL WORD
Belly fat is visceral fat which is metabolically active and easier to burn off than subcutaneous fat that lies just below the skin. The trick is to tune up our metabolism with diet and exercise and just go after it!

When dermal filler arrived on the cosmetic surgery scene, it opened up a lot of possibilities for people who wanted to look younger but without having to go through surgery. The types of materials as well as the ability to simulate surgical procedures are just some of the latest techniques of theses injectable solutions.

While there are many different types made of different materials, fat transfer dermal fillers are becoming increasingly popular. It’s every girl’s dream- taking the fat from an undesirable location and putting it where you need it.

Advancement in fat transfer makes it a natural way to plump up not just the face, but anywhere you would like more volume. Using liposuction, the plastic surgeon takes the fat from the abdomen, buttocks or thighs. Then he filters it and prepares it for relocation to the face, buttocks, breasts and anywhere else you want to fill out.

Another benefit of the advancement in fillers is the ability to mimic the results that in the past could only be attain through surgery. Instead of committing to the risks of surgery and the recovery time, you can obtain similar results from products made of poly-L-lactic acid, hyaluronic acid or even botulinum toxins.

You can mimic the effects of a facelift by injecting dense dermal fillers into the hollow saggy areas. Get rid of lines, wrinkles and even fill in scars while you are at it. Using the fat transfer, you can simulate implants in your breasts or buttocks without surgery.

With many of the products, you get instant results but they continue working beyond the treatment. Collagen dermal fillers replace the much needed protein in the skin and it also helps stimulate natural production so you can continue to enjoy the plump firm feel of your skin for several months.

With any of these products, you can hold off on invasive surgical procedures, but the results are not permanent. Each product differs, but the solutions eventually reabsorb or lose their effects over time, usually anywhere from 3-9 months, some last a year or so. Be prepared for repeat treatments if you want to maintain your youthful results.

For whatever reason and which dermal fillers you use, it is important that an experienced and board certified plastic surgeon does the injections.

While these procedures are relatively safe, you are still having a substance injected into your body and there are risks involved, particularly when toxins are involved. It takes a skilled hand and a good eye to correctly place each injection and at the right amount.

The end result from dermal fillers is a younger more refreshed looking face that everyone will notice but they don’t have to know how you did it because you can do these on your lunch hour.

In New Jersey, botox experts can user modern techniques can reduce wrinkles and lines without option for invasive techniques like surgeries. To know more, visit http://www.parkercenter.net
