Meditation guided activities are generally associated with adult use, but really there is no reason not to bring your children in on your meditation sessions. In fact, children may be more susceptible to the benefits of meditation than adults are, so putting your kids on the guided meditation track is not only a great family activity, but also provides them with a great background of spiritual activity that they can carry into adulthood.

Children tend to have shorter attention spans than adults, so if your children do not sit rigidly still while you try to teach them to meditate, do not fight it. You can still guide their thoughts with regular meditation guided techniques, even if they fidget. It is another matter if they want to get up and do something else. Be patient with the kids, as they might not understand the purpose of meditating. They will come around soon enough.

Before beginning, you should explain what meditating is about and what exactly you will be doing. Be sure to explain why it is an important activity. You might want to give specific examples of how meditation guided work has helped you in the past, and how it can help your child right now.

If your child’s thoughts wander while trying to meditate, allow it. This is your child’s natural creativity coming through, and creativity is an excellent asset to have while meditating. You can even take these wandering thoughts and turn them into mantras for your child. However, you may want to facilitate the use of meditation music to help keep them a little more focused.

Whatever breathing exercises or other relaxation methods you use before meditating will be just as helpful for your children. While you may use a meditation guided CD or DVD to help you meditate, your children will generally respond best if you give them directions. If you want to give them the same instruction you receive, you can simply rephrase your guided meditation directions in your own words so that your children will feel at ease.

It would probably be a good idea to emphasize visualization and mental imagery techniques, as your children will likely respond to these more concrete aspects as opposed to some of the more abstract concepts. You may want to consider giving children meditation beads or stones after some initial sessions, as this can give them something tangible to work with as they become increasingly meditation guided.

As Americans are consistently getting heavier, obesity levels are rising causing more heart disease and strokes. The American Heart Association is an organization that is working to spread awareness of this trend, in order to preserve the health and wellness of Americans.

The susceptibility to cardiac arrest has direct correlation to a person’s weight. They are especially susceptible if they are obese.

Cardiac arrest occurs when normal circulation of the blood stop because the heart fails to contract correctly. In some cases simple cardiopulmonary resuscitation or CPR, has been able to restart these vital, normal functions of the body and prevent people from dying.

However, the survival rate of someone in cardiac arrest is much higher if ACLS, or advanced cardiac life support, is implemented.

ACLS is the term for additional medical procedures used in emergencies specifically for treating cardiac arrest and the knowledge required to perform these procedures. The implementation of ACLS requires thorough medical training both through education and practice.

Generally, only qualified health care professionals are allowed to implement ACLS on a patient. A few examples of these qualified health care professionals include physicians, paramedics, nurses, respiratory therapists, clinical pharmacists, physician’s assistants, nurse and practitioners.

In order to perform ACLS, the individual has to know and be able to manage the air flow in the patients, be authorized to administer IV’s, read and correctly apply the information given by the electrocardiograms, and have a thorough knowledge of emergency pharmacology. The ACLS procedure begins by the medical personal assessing the patient’s heart rhythms using a manual defibrillator.

In normal Basic Life Support (BSL) a Automated External Defibrillator (AED) would typically be used. An AED is a machine that decides when and how a shock should be given to a patient.

The manual defibrillator is used by the medical team leader to manually administer shock to the patient. The team leader has to have thorough training to be able to make this decision wisely and correctly based on their vital signs.

Typically, once cardiac arrest strikes a patient the medical team has four to six minutes to resuscitate them before it is too late. If the patient is in ventricular fibrillation the survival rate is as high as 80%.

Following the administration of the defibrillator, the team will administer an IV to the patient as well as air devices such as oxygen tubes. The team may also decide to administer a drug to assist the patient to recovery.

Then, the team will search for the cause of the cardiac arrest. There are many possible causes of cardiac arrest, including heart attack, drug overdose, or trauma.

Once the specific cause of the cardiac arrest is identified, tailored treatments for the condition can be administered. For example, if the cause was drug overdose, the medical team can give the patient the counter acting drug.

Throughout this entire procedure, CPR or chest compressions are continued until no longer needed. CPR is a vital part of ACLS.

CPR is important because it can restore circulation to the brain which in turn preserves the vital organs for a short time. This short time may be long enough to save the patient’s life.

When ACLS and CPR are combined, not only is survival rate increased by the brain functions following the cardiac arrest are higher. It is also more likely that there will be fewer brain defects following treatment.

Many communities have trained their emergency personal in ACLS because of the benefits that it offers. Hospitals are also requiring that the nurses they hire be trained in administering ACLS before they can be employed.

ACLS is a life saving operation and it is vital that all medical personal are trained in it. It is also important that the general public is aware of the causes of cardiac arrest so that they can take measures to prevent the side effects of cardiac arrest.

Terry Daniels has worked as a nurse for the last 14 years. He has worked in many local clinics and the ER and recommends (http://www.aclsrecertonline.com) for ACLS recertification.

Meditation guided CDs come in a wide array, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. There are many things to consider when picking out the best guided meditation CD for you. From the content of the direction provided to the tempo and style of the music, many factors could make or break the guided meditation CD being right for you. With all the available options, it may seem a daunting task to find that one perfect CD, but with a little guidance on what to watch out for, the search will be that much easier.

Mediation guided CD’s come in all stripes and colors. So you need to be aware of the type of guidance provided on the disc. Some instructors will have a more focused or direct approach, while others might allow for a freer meditation experience. If you are a beginner, you may feel comfortable with more concrete ideas and directions, whereas a slightly more advanced user would likely relish a looser format. Another aspect of the instructor to consider is his or her voice. The voices will generally be calm and soothing, but every person’s voice has a different tone. You may want to start by deciding if you prefer listening to a man or woman’s voice provide directions for your practice. So listen to samples of different CDs either in a store with listening capabilities or online.

Once you have decided on what type of direction and voice you want to hear on your meditation guided CD, it is time to consider the background music. Studies have shown that music played rather slowly at sixty beats per minute tends to be more relaxing. It is believed that music played at that particular tempo increase alpha energy waves on both sides of the brain. However, if you find that music that slow is unhelpful for your purposes, feel free to try other options.

The length of the guided meditation CD is also an issue. A proper meditation session should last for at least twenty minutes in order to provide the maximum impact. Your preferred mediation CD should play the same style of music for at least that long, and preferably longer. Each song does not have to be twenty minutes, but all the songs should flow together seamlessly, so as to not disrupt your meditation with a sudden distraction. Though songs and guided presentations do not have to be of a particular length, having varied durations can help to break up and create more variety for your sessions of meditation guided.

Warts are skin developments caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). There are more than sixty varieties of HPV, a few of which tend to cause warts on the skin. HPV stimulates rapid growth of cells on the skin’s outer layer. In most cases, basic warts seem on the fingers, near the fingernails, or on the hands. Certain types of HPV can also cause warts to appear in the genital area.

Types of warts

Plantar warts: This type of wart generally seems as flesh-colored or light brown lumps that are flecked with small clotted blood vessels that appear as tiny black dots. Plantar warts (verrucas) appear on the soles of the feet.

Genital warts: Genital warts can come out in the pubic area, on the genitals, in the anus, and/or in the vagina. They look like little flesh-colored, pink or red growths in or around the sex organs. The warts may look same to the little parts of a cauliflower or they may be very small and difficult to see. They often appear in clusters of 3 or 4, and may develop and spread rapidly. They’re not generally painful, although they may sometimes cause mild pain, bleeding and itching. HPV infection is the most common sexually transmitted disease in the United Kingdom and certain forms of the virus can cause cervical cancer.

Flat warts: This type of wart is common in teens and kids than in grownups. Flat warts are smoother and smaller than other warts and they generally happen on the face. Flat warts also can appear on the legs, especially among females.

Warts are caused through direct contact with HPV, which is contagious. HPV may spread by person-to-person contact or through direct contact with an object used by a person with the virus. The virus that causes warts also can spread to other parts of the body of the person with warts.

How are warts treated?

In most cases, warts found on the skin are harmless and can disappear without treatment. However, genital warts should be viewed by a doctor.

Sometimes, warts may reoccur later treatment and more than one type of treatment may be essential. Although practitioners attempt to clear warts quickly, most processes require multiple treatments. Treatments may include:

Freezing (cryotherapy):

A doctor will use liquid nitrogen to freeze a wart. A blister forms close to the wart and the dead tissue falls off within about a week.
Salicylic acid: The acid “burns” off the top layer of the wart. Every few days the dead tissue can be rubbed away with emery paper, so the wart is removed bit by bit.

Covering with duct tape: A new study found that covering a wart with strong adhesive tape is likely to clear the wart within a month or 2 (duct tape was used in the study.) In this study, about 7 in 10 warts had cleared within two months utilizing duct tape. It may be worth a try as it is painless. However, further studies are needed to clarify the role of this treatment.

Minor operation: When warts can’t be removed by additional therapies, operation may be wont to cut away the wart. The base of the wart will be destroyed using an electric needle or by cryosurgery (deep freezing).

Laser surgery: This process uses an intense beam of light (laser) to burn and destroy wart tissue. It may be used for warts that are difficult to treat.
Technically called condiloma acuminata, genital warts are small growths. They can be very little or can appear in big masses in the following area:

* Inside or outside the vagina
* On the opening of the uterus
* Tip of the penis
* Shaft of the penis
* crotum
* Around the anus
* Inner the mouth or throat people carrying out oral sex

The virus gains entering into the skin and mucus layer thru narrow, microscopic cuts on the genital area which in turn may form as a result of sexual activities. The HPV has a long incubation period of time and the genital warts don’t come out immediately later entry of virus. The dormancy period may be months or even years after which the first wart makes it is appearance.

Meditation guided regimes lead to several positive changes in your wellness and state of being. Aside from relieving stress and anxiety, the benefits of a regular guided meditation schedule increase gradually the longer you continue meditating (over a length of time, not per meditation session). If you aim specifically to reduce nerves or anxiety, a focus on breathing in your meditation might be just the track to try.

If you already practice meditation guided techniques, you already know the importance of having a serene meditation area. This is the place where you carry out your meditation sessions, and you should pick a place in which you will hopefully be able to meditate without disruption. Another important aspect that is just as personal as the meditation area is your posture while meditating. You may want to try out a variety of postures and poses while meditating to know that you have found the perfect fit. From sitting on the floor in full lotus to lying down on your bed, the many posture options available should be dictated more by comfort than by style. You may think a certain pose seems good for meditating only to find that it does not work for you.

Before beginning any breathing exercise for meditation guided sessions, take a moment and let yourself get adjusted to your meditation stance while your mind clears and calms down. When you notice that your mind is not racing with thoughts, it is time to start the breathing exercise. Close your eyes and take several natural breaths. These should be deep, but still natural, as you do not want to overwork your body and distract yourself from your meditation. Breathing through your nose, inhale and count to seven silently. You will then exhale through your mouth while mentally counting to seven again. Repeat this pattern until you feel that all excess thoughts have left your mind, but being careful not to hyperventilate.

Try meditating for at least twenty minutes a day to receive the maximum benefit from your work, but even ten minutes of breathing exercises can be incredibly helpful. You can even do a few sets of this breathing pattern when you feel overwhelmed by stress throughout the day.. When your mind focuses on the control of something as natural as breathing, it helps you make sense of the more complicated aspects of your life, which in turn reduces your anxiety through a practice that is meditation guided.

Pollution can be cleaned up by using music theory. The different kinds of chords set up different results. One chord can cause blending, one can cause dissolution, one can cause enhancing, etc. This is the basis of cleaning up pollution, the harmony of the vibration of the ingredients. For example, if you have a contaminant from the mineral kingdom and you wish to dissolve it, you would use the chord that serves this purpose and draw from the other kingdoms for the harmony notes.

Coming from other kingdoms automatically insures that they are from different octaves. If you want to take this same contaminant and blend it with another mineral to allow it to serve a useful purpose, you would use the chord that serves the purpose of blending, etc.

To accomplish a transmutation of matter there must be harmony of octaves. The tuning exercises on your chakras can be progressed to transmute matter by using this same principle. This could be a process of returning the human body to a youthful, energetic state if this could be learned and focused on and was desired.

There are some specific exercises you can do as an experiment. To begin with, the easiest part of the physical body to do a transmutation on is the human hair follicle. This would involve a return to the dark color of the hair at youth. Because this is the easiest part to transmute, this is where you should start. The process of aging of the hair begins with the crown chakra. Because this crown chakra is not accessed until all the others are progressed at least to stage four, it is usually a later stage of life when this chakra opens.

The crown chakra is the chakra that causes the change in hair color. It is a thought process that is entered at the third level of this chakra. This is as far as most people ever progress this chakra and for this reason never progress past the fact that their hair is turning grey.

The crown chakra is also is the chakra that controls baldness. It controls the hair follicles. The chemistry of the cells that make up the hair follicles changes because of the new dimension of harmony or lack of harmony that the opening of this crown chakra offers. For most it is a disharmony and this causes a change in the cellular support of the hair follicle. Therefore with a tuning of the third stage of the crown chakra and then pulling the tuning of all the chakras of the body into the harmony of a blended major chord of the keytone of your physical body should work wonders on the color of your hair.

The process will take a considerable amount of time and dedication to this attunement. As an example we’ll use the C major chord. The other chakras will be tuned more strongly as follows when entering this procedure: the root chakra on the C at the bottom range of your pipe organ, the 16 ft. octave stop, or two octaves below the C that is below middle C on the piano. The next chakra, the sacral plexus will be tuned to E in the next octave. The solar plexus to the G in the next octave, the G right below middle C. The heart chakra would be middle C, the throat the E above high C, the third eye the G in the next octave and the crown the C in the following octave, the last key on an 88 note piano. When working with a higher chord, this note will not be on your piano, but is able to be registered audibly with the human ear. You will have to hear it internally. It must go into these higher pitches in order to have the force or intensity necessary to transmute matter.

If you do this exercise every night without fail, you should notice some results in your body hair. Not only the hair on your head, but also eyebrows and eyelashes will return to fullness of youth and all body hair will return to the color and fullness of youth. You should do this for a period of five minutes each and every evening after your other tuning exercises. Depending on your dedication and the strength and focus of your mental tuning this may take anywhere from one month to six months to show a difference.

Because of the extremely microscopic size of the hair follicles, it is the easiest to transmute. The next easiest transmutation to be able to achieve would be that of the skin itself. The cells that make up the skin are the next in size that can be worked with easily. They are not necessarily smaller than the cells of the organs, but because they are not found in density they can be worked with easier. They are in a thin layer, true, spread over the whole body, but this is still an easier transmutation to accomplish than a concentrated clump that an organ would be. To bring a heart, for instance back to youthful vibration would require a much more intensified tuning than you can do at the present time with your mind.

The hair and skin will respond to human mental thought. The teeth would also take a powerful tuning process. All of this can be accomplished eventually with the healing machine (to be worked on in the future) until the human mind progresses to the stage where it can handle the tuning on a daily basis as part of the instinctual functioning of the human body, such as breathing and elimination and all other process that are able to continue without your conscious effort.

You must be careful when doing your tune up for regressing age that you do not regress yourself back to the infant stage. You could inadvertently activate a gland that is much more active in a human’s youth. You must state the optimum age you wish the cells and glands and muscles and bones and organs and hair, eyes, etc. to regress to. We repeat, we must warn you that you need to state an optimum age when doing this tune up. If a person were to go too young they would bring back into existence hormones and glandular activity that will not serve their purpose at this stage of their spiritual growth.

The way to do this is to state before doing any tune up that you wish to regress the physical mechanism of your body to such and such an age. Then when doing the stacked harmony tune up, repeat this over and over as you talk to each part of the body. This is important. You might also state that you do not wish your emotional, mental and spiritual bodies to regress at all. This could be dangerous work if all precautions are not taken. Please be very careful before undertaking any part of it that your thoughts are on the age you wish to be when you are in this state of transmutation.

There is a whole field of work with the chakras that can be opened up. The chakras truly are your connection with your inner being, you know, and are the single most important gift from your Creator to help you synthesize the body and soul. It was planned that they be the link between the seen and the unseen worlds.
