Are you ready to elevate your overall health and well being to a new level?

Are you looking for a natural way to relieve stress?

Are you tired of feeling ‘stuck’ and feel life is passing you by?

Our world is changing with ever increasing speed and many people are finding it difficult to keep pace and cope on a daily basis. Although no one can control the world at large, individuals do have the power to be in charge of their personal world by controlling stress and their responses to it.

Of course a certain amount of stress, both physical and mental is normal (and healthy) for humans but too much can be fatal. According to a report on the Mayo Clinic’s website….” 80% of patient visits to their doctors are stress related. Almost 60% of all employee absences from work are related to stress. The World Health Organization calls stress, a global epidemic.

Over one million people (in the U.S.) die each year due to conditions/diseases related to stress. This includes obesity, lung cancer (due to smoking), heart disease and high blood pressure. Stress is also a contributing factor in arthritis, herpes, fibromyalgia, insomnia, migraines, chronic pain and infertility.”

The results of stress or the way it manifests in a person’s life is, in part, their reaction to the situation. Some of the ways in which stress ‘shows up’ are signals that need to be recognized, before more serious conditions develop. The signals may be physical, behavioural or emotional. A few of these are: Stomach aches, chest pain, fatigue, excessive sleeping or alcohol consumption, drug dependency (tranquilizers), compulsive eating, anxiety, depression, low self esteem and impatience.

The good news is that these reactions can be changed or ‘reprogrammed’. By utilizing positive suggestions and imagery a hypnotherapist or hypnotist, supports clients in making lasting changes by addressing their deeper (subconscious) mind. A deep, relaxing hypnotic rest is a very safe, pleasant and enjoyable process and stress reduction is a natural by product.

Many hypnotherapists/hypnotists around the world believe that assisting people with stress relief is so important, that they no longer see clients for anything else. If you would like to acquire the tools to reduce stress naturally, hypnotism can be highly beneficial. A professional hypnotist, not only guides clients through stress relieving sessions and offers suggestions for coping, but also teaches self hypnosis techniques which can be utilized throughout life.

Linda Winterton is a Certified Hypnotist with a thriving private practice. Her specialty is guiding female professionals and solopreneurs to believe in them self and live to their full potential.

There are so many consumer products out on the market it’s hard to know what to buy and what to avoid. Wherever there is a need- whether it’s help with weight loss, things to stop hair loss or products to make life easier- there are hundreds of things invented to address it. With so many things to choose from, how does one know what works?

If a man was having an issue with his stamina, he may want to look for a product to help him increase it. After hearing an advertisement for products made over the radio or the television, he can check online for websites that provide objective opinions on the item he heard advertised. For example, he can search for “virility ex pills review” and all the different websites that are dedicated to providing virility ex pills review information will come up.

After a person looks up review sites on a product, they will have a good idea of whether or not that product will be effective based on the opinions they read. If a woman read reviews about various smile brightening pastes, gels and trays, and then decided on a product that seemed to be effective, like Alta White, she can look for Alta White teeth whitening samples via the web. Typing in “Alta White teeth whitening samples” will bring up any websites that offer these products.

As with both of these examples, finding review websites online is the first step one needs to take. This will give the person more objective information that what they could find on a manufacturer’s website. When the product review isn’t sponsored by a retailer or the company producing the item, you know that the opinions are true. If the majority of opinions on an item are bad, you obviously wouldn’t want to buy it.

Once someone locates a product they feel will work, they can search for free samples of it online. Whether they find a free trial period or free samples, they can get the products they want to try at no cost. After using the product, a person can decide if it is worth buying at regular retail.

Faith healing has been practiced by countless people all over the world to get a clean inner self and heal the agony of disturbed feelings. This idea of faith healing has its root since the time when humanity started believing in religion and followed certain religious rituals to accept the blessing of healing through this divine power. The believers enjoy a lot of rejoice and happiness through the process of faith healing taught to them by their religious leaders and saints who discovered certain procedures to accomplish the rewarding result of faith healing. Non-believers do not have the tendency to understand the divine power and their effects and naturally they are not able to enjoy the better rewards of religious intervention in human life.

Faith Healing Instances

Faith healing is very well illustrated in the religion of Christianity. Several pastors and evangelists are known for their power to bless believers of faith healing with definite rewards. There are several instances where the saints delivered healing effects to give relief to numerous suffering people. Benn Hinn, a preacher laid his soothing hand on several crippled, blind and suffering men and prayed for their healing to the almighty. The stunning result was obvious when the crippled walked and the blind persons could see. Preachers could pray with divine serenity and could work with the amazing process of faith healing to serve the poor, the oppressed and the suffering people to take them out of their pitiful condition.

Bonke has also contributed to the process and brought solace to the distressed people with the power of faith healing. He could cure the patients of cancer and leukemia and could bring sight to the blind. Faith healing requires your total submission to the divine power of the almighty and then only you can avail the positive power to get yourself healed. This is entirely a state of mind where you have to attain pure faith in the divine intervention to get the taste of faith healing.

Various instances of faith healing are found in the Holy Bible. You can very well go through the New Testament and can easily come across several incidences of faith healing, which were performed with outstanding consequences. Jesus has been the prime person who committed countless healing to the common people with his divine touch. The son of God made so much of this healing to the mankind that is the best instance to us all. He could even induce the healing on the suffering people without a prayer. Some of the instances are mentioned here.

Faith Healing From Bible

A woman, whose girl child possessed a demon, approached Jesus and started by kneeling down in front of Him and explained the child’s condition. As soon as she finished her deliberation about the girl child, Jesus announced that the girl child had been already healed. Faith healing was possible without any kind of prayer and due to the devotion of the lady to lord Jesus.

Faith healing requires extreme devotion through religious belief and can be achieved with or without any kind of prayer.

Faith Healing can be defined as the method of seeking divine intervention in order to cleanse or heal oneself. People have believed, since time immemorial, that they can be healed as a result of divine intervention or some religious rituals. The fact that the idea of faith healing through intercession such as prayers or ministrations of a spiritual leader has been around throughout recorded time can be used to state that faith healing is a very possible notion. The people who do not believe this possibility are those who do not have any religious inclinations of any kind.

Examples of Faith Healing
The most common method of faith healing is the Christian way of healing. You will find that there are many pastors and evangelists globally who have been seen to be able to deliver faith healing to believers.

A good example of such a person would be a preacher by the name of Bonke and Benny Hinn. Benn Hinn would be seen to lay hands on people who were crippled, blind or had other diseases. After laying his hands on them and praying for them, they would be healed. If they were crippled, they started walking, and if they had been blind, they were able to see.

These preachers are people who seem have a lot of divine intervention when it comes to healing people. Bonke has been a person who has prayed for people with different diseases. He has been able to use faith healing to heal people with diseases such as cancer, leukemia, and blindness. What happens is that you have to believe that you will be healed by divine intervention for the process to work. Faith healing is known to be possible only when people have faith that they will be healed.

Another example of faith healing can be found in the Bible. If you read through the New Testament, you will find that a lot of faith healing has been done. The person who has done a lot of this type of healing is Jesus the son of God. In one of the healings (discussed below), you will find that the prayer process wasn’t even involved.

Faith Healing without prayer
The Bible tells the story of a certain woman who had a daughter who had a demon in her. When this woman heard that Jesus was in the area, she went to him, knelt down before him, and told him about the situation her daughter was in. After she told Jesus her problem, Jesus told her that her daughter was healed. This is an example of faith healing that does not involve prayer.

In the examples that we gave of Benny Hinn and Bonke, you will find that their faith healing involved the use of prayer. However, Jesus in the Bible did a lot of faith healing without the use of prayer. These can be seen in many cases that are available in the New Testament. Even in the Old Testament, you will find that there are several cases of faith healing. They can either be through the use of prayer or just by pure belief.

The thought that a person can be healed by simply having another lay his hands on him is beyond silly, but faith healing and faith healers have become increasingly popular over the last few years. Thousands of cures have been reported over the last few years and several people actively venerate reputable faith healers like Benny Hinn, etc who have a world famous reputation as being healers of the first order.

One sensational case that made the headlines was the unmasking of faith healer Peter Pop off, an evangelist who would call out the names of the people in the audience who were sick. Then he would claim miraculous recoveries for the affected patient by telling the audience intimate details about the patient’s life and what was going on in the person’s life at that time.

But he was considered to be a fake and this was proven at the time. With considerable investigation, a researcher called as James Randi was able to show that Peter was not getting any divine messages but his wife and associates were helping him out by sending him messages from backstage.

There was tiny receiver in the faith healer’s ear which was used to relay information to him about the sick and affected in the audience who had confessed previously to other members in the coterie. This created a sensation with many people publicly boycotting the faith healer and he was eventually arrested for cheating and lying.

The same process was exposed with faith healer W.V. Grant who followed the same procedure. Grant, however, got the information by taking relevant details from the letters that he got from his audience and he used this information to help him out when he mingled with his audience.

He also used to prepare crib sheets so he knew who the patient was and the condition they suffered from. The researcher Randi was able to find a complete set of the crib sheets when he sorted though the trash that was left behind after a healing session! And that was enough to bring down the faith healer.

There are several methods by which faith healers treat the sick and one of the primary ones is healing that occurs during the laying on of hands. When the faith healer lays hands on the sick, they fall back in a stupor or a coma-like condition. But it was also observed that people who did not want to fall were pushed gently till they were compelled to fall with the force of the pushing.

Is there actual evidence that faith healers do work and if so, why has that not been cataloged at all? Why do faith healers not step forward to have their miracles and recoveries be documented before and after by science and medicine? Why do faith healers not follow up with the so-called healed patient after a month or so to make sure that they have recovered? Has there been any independent agent that checks and verifies the healing performed by faith healers?

If none of these questions can be answered, then it’s time to question what is believable about faith healing and faith healers.

The healing that occurs supernaturally, not as a result of medicine but as a result of prayer and believing, reflects a connection between faith and healing because of the involvement of faith in order to be healed. Faith healing can be defined as a miracle, because there is no medicine involved, which makes it a bit hard to explain what actually happens.

Although the term has a stronger link with Christianity, other beliefs and religions also rely upon a connection between faith and healing to help their adherents. A belief in faith and healing is also central to a healing technique known as reiki, new age, occult, etc.

The relationship between faith and healing is most often relied upon by people who are involved in the occult, Christians who have a better understanding of the Bible in terms of the teachings on the subject about faith and healing, charismatic preachers who are widely found throughout the world, and people who tend to contradict the scriptures and misinterpret them by saying that it is against the virtues of the Bible to seek medical help.

This is not to say that there is no faith healing; based on the Bible teachings among the Christians, faith healing is a legitimate practice and belief. What puts people at the risk of injury and even death is the illegitimate approach to the relationship of faith and healing as discussed earlier. Although faith healing does take place today, there is some level of spiritual abuse in some churches as they try to bring out the concepts of faith and healing as they were used in the early Christian church.

Many cults that operate under the umbrella of Christianity have an unbiblical approach towards faith and healing, which ranges from aberrant to heretical. An example of a church that believes in faith healing to the extent that the followers avoid blood transfusion, even when a patient is in danger, is the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Genuine or legitimate Christian churches do not regard receiving medical care or using drugs as indicators of having insufficient faith, of being a non-believer or sinning against God.

Medicines are also regarded as working hand in hand with faith and healing. Much research has been done and a lot of money spent trying to connect the link between spirituality and good health. Out of this research, researchers have come to agree that there is a strong link between the spirit, the mind and the body. In other words, they have found that faith and healing do really connect. The research also revealed that meditation and prayer can actually make some people feel better.

Meditation and prayer, which result in faith and healing, have been found to not only improve the chances of an individual not being depressed but also improve the immune system, which makes it harder for the body to contract chronic inflammations. Yoga is a good example of meditation that connects faith and healing using exercise and believing. For a better understanding of the relationship between faith and healing, you can refer to religious books such as the Holy Bible, the Holy Quran and the Holy Bhagavad Gita.
