When I last visited the store, it seemed as though everywhere I turned there were many different products promising results, which were simply based on the fact that they contained a specific aromatherapy scent, which would include candles, oils, and shampoos. But, there was one key question that kept popping up in my head: are all these aromatherapy treatments just fluff, which are aimed at selling more products to consumers or could they be linked to some actual research?

The art of aromatherapy has been in people’s lives since the time of the Egyptians many centuries ago. Yet we, as individuals, experience this very phenomenon each day and many of us are not aware that we are or what it could mean for us.

You will probably find that there are a number of times when you have walked down the street or entered a room only to get a whiff of something which brought back wonderful memories; or it made you feel really great and energized. You will also find that every time you do so you are experiencing aromatherapy, which is something passively occurring in your everyday daily life.

You will find that in the end, aromatherapy is structured around science, which will reflect the interactions between an individual’s psychological, neurology and immune system. Additionally, there have been a number of different researches which have recognised a strong correlation between both the positive and negative experiences of using aromatherapy, and something which positively affects our immune system and psyche.

More so, it was found that the old adage of mind over body has been understood and recognized by science, as well as the modern medical field. But, you will need to also consider that you are able to boost your mood by creating a more positive outlook and using aromatherapy, and by doing this you will be able to strengthen your overall body, mind and spirit.

Aromatherapy works because it utilizes the sense of smell which is our strongest sense. Unlike the other senses, our sense of smell has a direct path to the brain and more importantly it has a direct path to our limbic system. Through this direct portal aromas are able to directly affect conscious thought and reactions as the limbic system is responsible for our memories (turning short term to long term), learned responses, emotions and feelings.

Although aromatherapy utilizes the sense of smell by triggering specific parts of the brain it also works by directly absorbing the essential oil molecules into our bodies, whether it is through the bronchial tract when using a differ or steam distillation or through the skin in a massage or bath.

You will find that although aromatherapy does utilize a person’s sense of smell, by triggering some specific areas of the brain, it will also work by directly absorbing some essential oil molecules into the body. It will do this whether through the bronchial tract (if using steam distillation) or through massaging or soaking the skin with the oil.

For instance, peppermint as an oil has been known for its ability to calm a person’s digestive problems and will work best for this specific instance when it is inhaled, yet others work best when they are massaged into an individual’s skin.

It is important also to recognize that although certain essential oils have specific benefits they do not work equally for each individual. For instance Lavender is considered to be very effective in calming the mind, body and spirit however if you do not like the fragrance of Lavender it will not have the same effect on you, therefore it is important to work with the essential oils that you enjoy.

This is easy to do because many essential oils have similar or overlapping benefits, leaving you with a number of options for one particular issue. Another option is to mix a couple or a few essential oils together to create your own fragrance that you enjoy and can ultimately receive the vast benefits they have to offer.

When it comes to food, some people just eat whatever is available. They don’t stop to think about how it affects their body or their health. Others read labels and try to choose what’s as healthy as they believe possible. Then, there are people who really stop and think about everything that they eat. Usually they are the ones that try different diets to figure out which one will work best with their body. No matter which type of person you are, you can find out more about raw foods and how they keep your body healthier.

Surely you may have heard about fad diets that supposedly help you lose weight, but the problem with them is that you gain it back within a few weeks. They also aren’t good for your systemic health. A raw food diet is full of pure vitamins, minerals and enzymes that help your body naturally. Some people take supplements that have goji berries, acai berries, green tea and colon cleansers in them in order to lose weight and justify their health. However, there are so many chemicals in some of these “weight lossproducts that aren’t healthy. The “colon cleansers” that are in some of these pills will have you going to the bathroom constantly. The natural cure that is in a raw diet can have you regular as well as feeling more energetic and vibrant.

Unprocessed and uncooked foods (preferably whole foods/organic) such as purified water, juice, legumes, seeds, beans, grains, nuts, dried fruit as well as fresh fruits and veggies are all part of this type of diet. At least 75% of the food must be living or raw to be considered a raw food diet. This means that you can eat sashimi, raw meats (cold smoked/cured meats), raw goat/sheep cheeses and more. Raw recipes for breads, bagels, wraps and pizza crusts that contain wheat grass, gazpacho/cucumber soups, cookies, cakes, ice-cream and smoothies can all be found online, at the library or at your local bookstore.

This diet contains less saturated fat/fewer trans fats than a typical Western diet. It is also lower in sodium/high in magnesium, fiber, potassium and folate. Plant chemicals called “phytochemicals” are associated with a reduction in illness and disease, specifically diabetes, cancer and heart disease. There are natural cures for many things from a variety of plants. Aloe vera is one that you can use for lots of things as well as it can be incorporated into juices and foods. You have probably been brought up to appreciate operations, your physician and that medicines they give you and surgery they perform is the answer to any of your problems. When we do this, however, we are indicating to our bodies that it isn’t important to us and that we are not giving our own bodies the time to heal naturally. If we look at the first symptoms we get and treat these, then this will be a good start in recovery.

We can treat ourselves early with natural remedies and often cure a number of health related issues. You will recognise that your body will tell you the truth, which will come out in your own emotions and challenges.

When I looked at myself in the mirror I could see that my own emotional pain was a “physical art form,” and it could transform before my very eyes to cure a devastating disease. By the time I was 35, I was comfortable in my new clothes, home and car. There were a number of different large firms who hired me to help complex business problems they were going through, and it was common for me to work 12 hour days.

But, I received terrible news whilst I was in a medical specialist’s office as he diagnosed me with rosacea – a skin disease that is incurable, deforming, and disfiguring. Because I had treated myself as a machine, I was now paying the price – and the disease would show me no mercy as it continued to get worse over the next few years. I spent all of my financial resources going to medical specialists and naturopathic practitioners. I had the need to understand how my own body’s immune system would be able to heal and repair me.

I concluded that the body is a natural system, so I chose to avoid medications. Fifty doctors later, I was still searching for those same answers. I was determined to prove that the inherent intelligence within me knew how to heal me, after six years I began to doubt my core belief.

Once I had progressed into my 40′s, I could see my skin was worse, it was red and inflamed, and I had daily boils. I also found that the sight in my eyes was going and was unable to read drive and watch tv all that well either. Obviously, this had a significant impact on the plans and dreams I had in my life. I would come to realise and think, mostly when I was alone, that I sympathised with people who had taken their own lives because of the pain.

After this, I met a Chinese doctor who gave me a diagnosis that was different from all of the other physicians. He said that the disease wasn’t just in my face, but it was concerned with the natural biological rhythms of my body not being in harmony – and this resulted in my face being directly affected because of the emotional fear and stress. This doctor also saw other symptoms of exhaustion through other indicators when he examined me. He said that my body felt lifeless and frail, and that I must find peace at whatever price. I was happy that there was a different opinion.

After I had spoken with the doctor I looked at my emotional therapy. I first looked at the different fears that I had which affected me since I had been diagnosed, and I also went back further through my past. I looked at myself in the mirror and looked at what I had done to cause this disease – which had been caused by being a workaholic.

And, when I looked back I see that I denied many different personal things in life. Also, had felt worthless and needed to push the addiction forward. I had the thought of staying busy but this resulted in my own exhaustion and consequently caused me to feel angry and resentful. Through the years I had served others which negatively impacted on my life and I failed to do anything until my friend stepped in.

After one year of sharing my painful story, crying and releasing my pent-up emotions and work addiction patterns within a safe community, a miracle took place. I healed physically without scars and my eye sight returned to normal. For years I had been on a healthy diet and exercise program that also assisted my body in this transformation. My miracle-healing story became my path. It was natural for me to go into the holistic field and teach people how to heal, prevent physical health challenges, and find greater joy.

When you are looking to learn and use aromatherapy, you will find that it is a good way to relax, unwind and rejuvenate your own well being. You will also find that it can be a good and interesting way to start a romantic evening with a special person. You are most probably a beginner to aromatherapy and this short guide will provide you with a snippet of what you can uncover; you will read through a basic, introductory article of the practice of aromatherapy.

You should first learn the guidelines to consider when looking to buy some quality essential oils. You should avoid confusion of true aromatherapy essential oils with the many different perfumed and fragrance oils which are sold. You see that the latter are often what a store will attempt to pass off as aromatherapy oils, but the true fact is that they won’t do you much good. Pure essential oils come from the essence of a plant and provide individuals with therapeutic benefits. You will also see that fragrance oils do indeed smell nice but will not provide you with any psychological or physical benefits.

When you are first getting started with aromatherapy it is a good idea to look for a good comprehensive aromatherapy book or even take an aromatherapy course as a way of learning as much as you can.

You will find that it isn’t difficult start learning and using the different aromatherapy oils, and also recognising which different essential oils are available and how they can be combined for maximum impact. When you are reading an aromatherapy guide you will begin to appreciate why there are specific guidelines over the use of essential oils and can then combine these for your benefit.

You will also see that some of the better essential oils will generally have lavender or camomile in them. This is because both of these help an individual to relax, unwind and sleep much better. If you are a person who wants to be energized and more upbeat, then you should look to include orange and grapefruit in your essential oil.

Be aware that essential oils should not be used in an undiluted form for physical application. Undiluted is fine for inhalation or steam inhalation as well as freshening a room or your laundry, but if you intend to use your oils for an aromatherapy bath or massage they must be combined with a carrier oil such as sweet almond oil.

And, finally, you should consider it important to learn how to keep and store your essential oils. A good aromatherapy guide will have a section that talks through the way to store your essential oils and should instruct you to store them in dark glass bottle such as cobalt blue or amber. The purpose of these bottles is to keep the oil cool and you should then store them in a dark area. Also, having a wooden box to store and carry them in is a good idea as you can take them with you wherever you go.

You search for ways on healing back pain, and still all you find is temporary relief. You want a permanent cure, so you can get out an enjoy the life you once had.

Sure removing your back pain now is good, nobody wants to stay in pain for too long. You still want and need to address the causes of your back pain. Why?

If the causes remain, your back pain will return. The scary part is not that it returns, but statistics say that it will be worse the second time around. As you age, if you continue to neglect to remove the cause, you can expect your elder years to be full of pain. Something I’m sure neither you nor I want.

Can you heal back pain naturally? Healing back pain surely requires some medical intervention. Or does it?

If you are trying to remove the causes, then the natural approach is best. Why?

Muscles and joints are the two main causes of back pain. Muscular imbalance and joint distortion. These create your back pain and if left untreated will lead to the more serious back pain conditions.

You know the ones, the words that are meant to scare you. Disc injuries, spinal stenosis, arthritis and many others. These only occur as the minor back pain issues are left to deteriorate. This is why the causes of your back pain should be attacked early.

Healing back pain is easy if you do it early. It only ever involves four simple steps.

1. First find the cause, identify which muscles are out of balance and which joint distortion patterns exist.
2. Balance the muscles by relaxing those that are tight and strengthening those that are weak.
3. Realign your spine and rebalance your pelvis (a vital element).
4. Improve your healing and recovery rates.

Now this may sound complex and a little daunting. However it isn’t.

Healing back pain is simple, quick and can be done naturally. Stretches are a natural technique, as is self-adjusting your spine, if you wish to improve your healing or recovery rates then you can only do this with natural processes.

Does medicine have its’ place?

Symptom removal is still your first goal and medication helps, as does natural supplements. However, symptom removal should be only part of your overall approach to back pain. The underlying causes should be your main focus.

If not, you will look forward to the years ahead with a high chance of suffering with back pain. Something I’m sure you don’t wish. Healing back pain is easy and simple if you understand the four steps you need to follow to eliminate your back pain.

Looking for a back pain cure? You are like over 80% of adults that suffer back pain with you. You put up with pain and now you are searching for an answer. Do you know what you can do? Would you like a simple way to relieve back pain?

Can I warn you first?

What I’m about to show you will help relieve back pain now. Only briefly, but it will ease it. My warning is this.

Please take action, don’t ease your back pain and then stop. Don’t wish or hope it away, because it just won’t go away. You literally need to do something about it. You truly do need to find the cause and then remove it.

Eliminating the cause of back pain is essential. Fail to achieve this and you are looking forward to many years of chronic back pain. And who wants that?

Relieving back pain is easy, first you find the cause, and then you rebalance your muscles and joints and finally improve your healing and recovery rate. It is that simple. But I digress…

Like I said, what you can do now to relieve back pain is the following. The method below is a very simple and quick back pain cure.

Stand up with your arms stretched out wide. Have your feet shoulder width apart. Then slowly turn as far as your can in one direction. At the end (stop when you feel a pulling sensation, not pain), hold there for 2 seconds and the turn in the opposite direction.

If you do this for 2 minutes, you will notice two things: first you can turn more and more, secondly your back pain eases.

By doing this you are actually stretching the entire spine and especially the smaller muscles around the joints that are tight and tender. It should relieve back pain quickly, and then you should find the underlying causes and remove them.

Please remember, this is only temporary relief. You still need to remove all the causes of your back pain if you want long lasting relief. You need to relax tight muscles, strengthen weak muscles, get joints back into balance and remove the bad habits leading to your pain.

Now you know a simple technique you can use to relieve back pain. Use it as often as you wish, but again I warn you. A back pain cure is precisely that, a cure. It must address all the issues causing your back pain, otherwise you will only get temporary relief, and something you don’t want. You want a permanent back pain cure.
